Our client is a successful automotive group seeking a Workshop Controller to join the team at their busy site in Bradford. It is essential that you have previous experience of working as a Workshop Controller within the Motor Trade. Senior Technicians and who have some workshop control experience are encouraged to apply. As this role requires getting on the tools when needed you must be a capable Vehicle Technician to be considered for this position.

The Successful Workshop Controller will get:
  • A basic salary of £35,000 with an OTE of £38,500
  • Ongoing training and genuine progression opportunities.

For this Workshop Controller position you will be:
  • Assigning work to Vehicle Technicians to ensure the smooth running of the workshop.
  • The role will involve ensuring all incoming work is planned as well as managing the time and resources of your team.
  • You will assign a team of Technicians to tasks, ensuring productivity is maximised and that deadlines are adhered to at all times.
  • Undertake maintenance, servicing and repairs when needed.
  • Occasionally stand in for Aftersales Manager.
For this Workshop Controller position you will need:
  • Previous experience of working as a Workshop Controller within the Motor Trade, Senior Technicians who stand in for the Workshop Controller in their current role are welcome to apply.
  • Have an enviable and proven track record of performance.
  • You will have exceptional communication skills
  • Full valid UK driving licence.
  • The ability and willingness to lead a busy workshop team and to be able to maximise performance.
