Are you an experienced Parts Advisor who thrives on delivering outstanding customer service while supporting parts sales? We are recruiting for Parts Advisor to join our client’s Aftersales team in Staines, Greater London. This is a permanent role working 42.5 hours per week, reporting into the Aftersales Manager, and offering the opportunity to grow your skills in a busy, fast-paced parts environment.

Duties:

  • Drive the standard in customer care by delivering consultative solution selling for parts and accessories to internal and external customers
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through confident parts guidance based on customer needs
  • Educate customers on the full range of parts and accessories, ensuring the right recommendations every time
  • Proactively identify new customers and build effective, profitable relationships
  • Retain existing customers through strong customer management and ongoing support
  • Receive and process telephone and internet orders accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain comprehensive, detailed and timely electronic and paper records, ensuring accounts remain up to date
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly and meet relevant deadlines
  • Work closely with the wider Aftersales team to maintain a smooth day to day operation
Requirements:

  • Proven Parts Advisor experience in a busy Parts department, ideally within a main dealer environment
  • Strong consultative sales approach with evidence of proactive sales activity in a commercial environment
  • Demonstrable customer management and development experience
  • Sound telephone and communication skills, with the confidence to handle customer queries professionally
  • IT literacy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Basic Maths and English qualifications
  • Right to work in the UK
  • An organised approach with the ability to manage orders, priorities and records accurately
