Duties

  • Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and warranty repairs efficiently and safely
  • Support and mentor less experienced technicians to improve team performance
  • Use advanced diagnostic equipment to resolve complex vehicle issues
  • Maintain a high standard of safety, quality, and professionalism in all workshop activities
  • Ensure accurate completion of all reports, paperwork, and documentation
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and techniques
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to deliver exceptional customer service
Requirements

  • Master Technician Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working in a main dealership environment with a strong diagnostic and repair background
  • Competence in electrical and mechanical systems, including EV and hybrid technology (preferred)
  • Excellent team player with a mentor mindset, eager to share knowledge and develop others
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, committed to high standards of safety and quality
