We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, family-run automotive service centre in Colchester, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician seeking a stable, rewarding career in a professional environment that values technical expertise and development.

Duties:
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify faults
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using OE diagnostic equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
  • Utilise hand tools, power tools and assembly techniques efficiently
  • Interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams for precise repairs
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed in accordance with company standards
  • Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly during refurbishment projects
Requirements:
  • Full NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Vehicle Mechanics
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT Technician
  • Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fully qualified with a commitment to high standards of work
