MOT Tester Required for Main Dealership in Wimbledon

Pay: £35k Basic + £15k Realistic On Target Earnings - productivity bonus 
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5pm 40 hours per week + Saturday mornings on a rota (Paid at OT)

Duties

  • Conduct MOT tests in compliance with DVSA guidelines and issue MOT certificates
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and fault diagnosis efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain detailed records of all tests and repairs undertaken
  • Advise customers on repairs needed and future maintenance requirements
  • Keep up to date with changes in MOT regulations and vehicle technology
  • Ensure that all work is completed within set times and adheres to health and safety standards
  • Assist with vehicle inspections and provide expert advice on mechanical and electrical systems
Requirements

  • MOT Class 4 qualification and Level 3 automotive qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a vehicle technician with Class 4 MOT testing experience preferred
  • Sound mechanical knowledge and strong diagnostic skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • A proactive team player capable of working independently
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
