Vehicle Damage Assessor Opportunity in Derby 
  • Basic Salary: £42,000
  • OTE: £50,000+ (Team Bonus)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 40 Hours Per Week | 8:00am – 4:30pm or 8:30am – 5:00pm
Our client, a leading prestige accident repair centre in Derby, is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their successful team. Roles and Responsibilities as a Vehicle Damage Assessor:
  • Assess damaged vehicles and produce accurate repair estimates
  • Liaise with insurers, customers, and internal workshop teams
  • Manage repairs from initial assessment through to completion
  • Ensure all repair methods comply with manufacturer and industry standards
  • Identify additional repair opportunities where appropriate
  • Monitor repair progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the repair process
  • Support workshop efficiency through accurate estimating and planning
What Our Client Expects from Their Vehicle Damage Assessors:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Estimator, or VDA
  • Strong understanding of accident repair techniques and processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Experience working with prestige vehicles would be advantageous
  • ATA accreditation preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced bodyshop environment
