- Service, diagnose, and repair RCV mainly, with exposure to sweepers, tractors, and 7.5T vehicles
- Carry out routine inspections and maintenance tasks to keep vehicles roadworthy
- Support the wider engineering team through accurate completion of defect sheets, job cards, and compliance documentation
- Utilise diagnostic equipment effectively to identify and resolve faults promptly
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment
- Work flexibly across shifts including early mornings, days, and late shifts as required
- Proven experience as a Plant Mechanic, PCV Technician, HGV Technician, or LCV Technician
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Heavy/PCV Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Full UK driving licence; PCV Category D licence desirable (training may be provided)
- IRTEC accreditation or MOT tester licence is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach to work
