Our client is a highly respected independent workshop that has been serving motorists across Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire since the 1980s. Key Details:
- Basic salary up to £45,000, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday working - no weekends
- Flexible working hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm
- Part-time hours available

Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintaining customer vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Carrying out repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Completing job cards and workshop paperwork accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
- Speaking with customers when required to explain repairs or vehicle issues
Requirements:
- NVQ/IMI Level 2 or Level 3 qualification preferred (time-served technicians are encouraged to apply)
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
- Ability to carry out servicing, maintenance and general repairs independently
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- MOT Tester licence would be an advantage but isn't essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
Based in Flitwick, this role is easily commutable from Bedford, Luton, Milton Keynes, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard, Ampthill, Hitchin and the surrounding areas.
