Are you an experienced Service Technician looking to enhance your career with a reputable family-run business? We are currently recruiting for a Service Technician to join our client’s busy workshop in Sudbury, Suffolk. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly environment with a good work/life balance, offering competitive pay, ongoing training, and additional earning potential through profit sharing.

Duties:
  • Carry out servicing and repair work on a range of vehicles
  • Diagnosing automotive faults accurately using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Providing excellent customer service and technical advice
  • Maintaining detailed records of work completed
  • Ensuring work is completed efficiently within specified timeframes
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified technician, ideally with diagnostic experience
  • Minimum of a level 2 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Full UK driving licence with less than six points
  • Previous experience working within a dealership or independent workshop
  • Good technical knowledge, especially with Skoda and Vauxhall vehicles (desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
