  • Permanent night shift pattern – 4 days on / 4 days off, 19:00 – 07:00

Duties:
  • Maintain and repair commercial vehicles to manufacturer and VOSA standards
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
  • Conduct scheduled inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing
  • Ensure vehicle availability aligns with delivery schedules
  • Promote and uphold health and safety standards within the workshop
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and audit-ready workspace
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Vehicle Maintenance Unit (VMU)
  • Work flexibly across various VMU tasks as required
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in LGV fleet maintenance, ideally within a commercial environment
  • City & Guilds LGV qualifications or equivalent in LGV Vehicle Crafts
  • Strong organisational and teamworking skills
  • Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
  • An LGV C+E licence is desirable but not essential
