Working alongside a friendly workshop team within a state-of-the-art facility and reporting to the Aftersales Manager, your main responsibilities will initially focus on used vehicle preparation, PDI inspections, servicing, and repairs. As the dealership's new vehicle sales and aftersales operation develops, you will transition into carrying out manufacturer-standard servicing, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics. You will accurately diagnose faults, report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance, and ensure all dealership and manufacturer quality standards are consistently met.
To be considered, individuals must be fully qualified Vehicle Technicians with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 / IMI certification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Ideally, individuals will have at least one to two years of post-qualification experience within a franchise-approved dealership, although experience in used vehicle preparation and PDI work would also be advantageous. An MOT licence is desirable but not essential. You must hold a valid driving licence with minimal points, demonstrate a committed attitude, be a team player, and produce high-quality work in a dealer environment.
