We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to join a well-established dealership in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to lead the service department and drive customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Lead and motivate the service team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Oversee workshop operations to ensure efficient and profitable day-to-day running
  • Ensure all service bookings are managed effectively and customer expectations are exceeded
  • Maintain high standards of vehicle repairs and health and safety compliance
  • Develop and implement service department strategies to meet targets
  • Build strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business
  • Manage team performance, conduct appraisals, and support training needs
  • Work closely with the aftersales team to maximise revenue opportunities
  • Stay updated with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices
Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar senior aftersales role within the motor trade
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair processes, and customer service standards
  • Ability to meet targets and drive the performance of the service department
