We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client's busy workshop team in Benfleet, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified mechanic to work in a supportive environment and advance their career within the automotive industry.

Benefits for the Vehicle Technician:
  • Competitive basic salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience
  • Performance-based bonus structure
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 7.30 am to 5.00 pm

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Perform all aspects of mechanical repairs and servicing on a wide range of vehicles
  • Assist with fault diagnosis and inspections
  • Conduct general mechanical tasks efficiently and to a high standard
  • Support the team in maintaining workshop productivity
  • Optional involvement in MOT testing; MOT tester qualification is advantageous but not essential
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and health and safety regulations
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician with relevant industry qualifications
  • Experience in mechanical repairs and diagnostics
  • Valid driving licence; a Mot licence is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
