Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding career opportunity? Our client, a reputable family-run car dealership located in Bexleyheath, South London, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated workshop team. Duties

  • Conduct routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools
  • Complete vehicle inspections and identify safety or maintenance issues
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
  • Ensure all work is carried out to high standards and within specified timeframes
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members, if applicable
  • Possibility to obtain MOT testing certification (training provided)
Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
  • Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in light vehicle mechanics
  • Strong mechanical skills and technical knowledge
  • Valid UK driver’s licence
  • Preferably MOT trained or willing to obtain certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
