- Basic Salary: Up to £34,000 (depending on experience)

As Assistant Manager, you will work alongside the Centre Manager who will train you in all aspects of how to manage the operation, including people, service operations, car count, profit, sales and administrative duties.
This is a hands-on role, meaning you will also spend time supporting technicians in the service bays, assisting with servicing and fast-fit repairs when necessary to ensure a seamless and efficient operation.
As such, you should hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
Duties Include:
- Managing the front desk and workshop.
- Seeing customers in and out and gaining authorisation for work.
- Keeping customers informed on the progress of their vehicle.
- Managing the technicians in the workshop, controlling job cards and general workload.
- Pricing work and invoicing customers.
- Ordering and sourcing parts, tyres and maintaining stock control.
- Supporting the Centre Manager with the day-to-day running of the business.
- Working towards sales and performance targets while maintaining excellent customer service.
- A good mechanical knowledge.
- Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification.
- Ability to carry out minor fast-fit repairs and servicing when required.
- Experience leading a workshop is advantageous, with the ability to motivate technicians and lead a team to success.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- A proactive attitude with a desire to deliver exceptional customer care.
- Sales driven with the ability to meet and exceed centre targets.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
