We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts Advisor to join a well-established team in Stevenage. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with a background in the motor trade, particularly those with general motor factor experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service at our trade counter and via email and telephone, building strong relationships with both trade clients and end-users. The role offers excellent prospects for career advancement within a family-owned, independent company with a strong reputation in the industry.

Duties:

  • Providing expert advice and support to trade customers at the trade counter in Stevenage
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through face-to-face interactions, email, and phone communication
  • Promoting our parts and services effectively to all levels of management and motor trade owners
  • Managing stock and ensuring accurate parts ordering and inventory control
  • Utilising automotive parts systems such as Kerridge and Autopart for efficient parts management
  • Supporting the sales team with parts-related enquiries and orders
  • Maintaining a professional and well-presented appearance at all times
Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, ideally with  motor factors
  • Strong understanding of car parts, with knowledge of JLR EPC system beneficial
  • Familiarity with Kerridge, Mamsoft, or Autopart systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and well-presented
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
