We are currently seeking a dedicated Service Advisor/Warranty Administrator to join our reputable dealership in Twyford, Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to become part of a successful, family-owned business with ambitious growth plans. The Service Advisor/Warranty Administrator will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while maximising workshop efficiency.

Duties

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers requiring vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work
  • Build strong relationships through professional customer service and effective communication
  • Prepare accurate job cards and schedule workshop bookings to optimise technician productivity
  • Keep customers informed throughout the repair process with regular updates
  • Promote manufacturer service plans, maintenance packages, and additional repair opportunities
  • Obtain customer authorisation for any extra work prior to commencing repairs
  • Produce detailed estimates, raise invoices and explain work upon vehicle collection
  • Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records in accordance with company standards
  • Handle administrative tasks including payments, customer records and warranty administration with precision
Candidate spec

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Warranty Administrator in the motor trade
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to hit sales and customer satisfaction targets
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
