PDI Technician Opportunity in Derbyshire
  • Basic Salary: Competitive (DOE)
  • OTE: £43,000+
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 40 Hours Per Week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PDI Technician to join a busy Fleet Department at a well-established main dealer in Ilkeston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with workshop experience who enjoys carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections and preparing vehicles to the highest standards before they reach the customer.

What you'll be doing:
  • Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles
  • Completing collection inspections prior to customer handover
  • Performing minor servicing and mechanical repairs where required
  • Fitting accessories to vehicles when required
  • Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
  • Identifying and reporting any additional repair or safety issues 
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
What we're looking for:
  • Previous workshop experience
  • Ability to carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections efficiently and accurately
  • Good understanding of vehicle servicing and basic mechanical repairs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent) advantageous but not essential
