Vehicle Tyre Technician - Trowbridge
  • Salary: Around £26-28,000 per annum, pending experience, plus a performance-related bonus scheme (around £3,600 per annum). 
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:30am-4:00pm.

Our client, an automotive service centre/tyre retailer with multiple centres nationwide, is currently recruiting for an experienced Tyre Technician to join their busy centre in Trowbridge.
 
Reporting to the Centre Manager and working with a friendly workshop team, your responsibilities will include: 
  • Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
  • Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary
  • Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.
  • Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.
  • Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customer's vehicle.
  • Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other marks resulting from the job you have carried out
  • To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures 
To be eligible, you will need to have a UK driving licence with minimal points and have proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician, either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship.

Overall, you will be a good team player with excellent communication skills, liaising with other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of work through the workshop.
 
For your hard work as a Tyre Technician, our client is offering:
  • Starting salary up to £26-28,000 per annum pending qualifications.
  • Performance-related bonus scheme averaging around £3,600 per annum.
  • Overtime subject to availability and paid at a standard rate.
  • 28 days annual leave allowance.
