- Position: HGV Technician
- Location: Wellingborough
- Basic Salary: Circa £20 per hour (DOE) + Bonuses
- Shift Allowance, Overtime & Bonus Scheme
- Various Shift Patterns Available: 5am - 1:30pm, 1:30pm - 10pm & 10pm - 6:30am
We're recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced HGV Technicians to join their modern commercial vehicle workshop in Wellingborough.

Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trailers and other commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose faults efficiently and complete repairs in line with DVSA standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and general workshop duties.
- Work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Attend roadside breakdowns and emergency repairs where required.
- Complete all relevant documentation, service records and warranty paperwork accurately.
- Maintain high workshop standards, including cleanliness and stock control.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI) in HGV Maintenance & Repair.
- Full UK driving licence (Class 1 advantageous but not essential).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to identify worn or faulty components in accordance with DVSA standards.
- MOT Licence beneficial but not essential.
