This is the perfect opportunity for a qualified technician looking for greater work-life balance without sacrificing earnings. Working a 4-day week, you'll enjoy a regular extra day off while working independently, delivering exceptional customer service and carrying out servicing and repairs at customers' homes or workplaces.

You'll be provided with a fully equipped company vehicle, the latest tools and equipment, and ongoing support to help you succeed.

Hours:
  • 4-day working week with no weekend working.
  • 42-hour week across just 4 days
  • Week 1: Monday to Thursday
  • Week 2: Tuesday to Friday
  • 10.5-hour shifts
  • No weekends!
Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer locations to carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately and efficiently.
  • Work on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
  • Complete warranty repairs where required.
  • Carry out vehicle health checks and advise on any additional work needed.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in line with manufacturer specifications.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, acting as a professional ambassador for the business.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and job records accurately.
  • Build strong relationships with customers across your local area.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • At least three years' experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Experience working on both passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) would be advantageous, although not essential.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A positive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
