We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our client's busy dealership in Bishop's Stortford, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a key managerial role within a reputable organisation. The successful Workshop Controller will be responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations and ensuring the team delivers exceptional service to customers. 

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £36,000 per annum
  • Uncapped earning potential with an OTE of £43,000+
  • Working Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
  • One in four Saturdays from 8am to 2pm

Duties:
  • Managing and supervising a team of eight technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently
  • Allocating job cards and prioritising workshop workflows in line with customer deadlines
  • Ensuring quality standards and high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained
  • Maintaining effective communication between service advisors, technicians, and customers
  • Monitoring workshop productivity and implementing improvements where necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of automotive repair processes and workshop management
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • A positive attitude and a focus on delivering excellent customer service
