We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Service Advisor to join a reputable automotive dealership in Barnstaple. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking to progress their career within the motor trade. The successful individual will have the chance to work in a friendly environment with a team dedicated to providing outstanding customer service.

Benefits:
  • A competitive basic salary of around £28,000 maybe more depending on experience with an achievable on-target earning of approximately £30,000.
  • Additional benefits include 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increased holiday entitlement with length of service, and other staff benefits.
  • Working hours are from 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays from 8AM to 12PM, with the previous Friday afternoons off.
  • Considerable earning potential through achievable bonuses and incentives.
Duties:
  • Providing exceptional customer service as the main point of contact for service customers.
  • Managing service bookings, liaising with technicians, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
  • Promoting additional services and upselling where appropriate.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring the smooth operation of daily service department activities.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work well within a team and build rapport with customers.
  • A professional approach and a passion for delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Previous experience working with manufacturer systems such as Vauxhall or Peugeot is advantageous but not essential.
