- Hours: Contractual work hours are 8:15am-5:30pm Mon to Fri; however, if you complete your allocated work, the hours are 8:15-5:00pm Mon to Thur and 8:15am-4:00pm Friday.

Working alongside a close-knit, well-motivated and friendly team, as a Vehicle Technician, your main duties will include carrying out diagnosis, service, and repair of a wide range of cars and vans as required to high standards. You will need to ensure faults/vehicle conditions are accurately diagnosed and reported. As a Vehicle Technician, you will need to ensure that quality and Health & Safety procedures are followed so customer service and satisfaction levels are maintained at a high level. If you have an MOT licence, you will also be required to carry out MOT tests to Ministry standards.
Do you need qualifications? In short, no!
To be eligible, you will ideally be qualified to NVQ/IMI Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair; however, our client is also willing to consider individuals with no formal qualifications, provided they have very strong “on the job” practical experience as a Vehicle Technician. Our client is also willing to consider MOT Testers that are looking to predominantly focus on just MOT testing. Overall, you will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce consistently high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for you and the team.
