  • Basic Salary: Up to £39,000 (Depending on experience)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • Saturdays on a rota, 10:00am - 5:00pm

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanic to join a busy, well-established independent garage with a strong reputation for providing professional vehicle servicing, MOT testing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.


The workshop caters for all makes and models, including cars, vans and specialist vehicles, offering a varied and interesting workload. This role is ideal for someone with solid workshop experience who is confident carrying out servicing, repairs, and more advanced mechanical work, including timing belts and clutch replacements.


Responsibilities:
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults efficiently.
  • Complete timing belt and clutch replacements confidently.
  • Carry out MOT preparation and general workshop repairs.
  • Work on a wide range of vehicles, including cars and light commercial vehicles.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Provide a high level of workmanship and customer service.
  • Work effectively as part of a professional workshop team.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous workshop experience is essential.
  • Confident carrying out timing belts and clutch replacements.
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
