- Lead, support and motivate the Parts team to provide outstanding service and operational efficiency
- Manage daily operations of the Parts Department ensuring prompt parts supply to minimise vehicle downtime
- Oversee parts sourcing, ordering, stock control, and inventory management in line with Mercedes-Benz standards
- Ensure accurate processing of stock receipts, returns, and documentation
- Maintain optimal stock levels, monitor obsolescence and ensure stock availability
- Support warranty, recovery, and other manufacturer processes in accordance with brand standards
- Develop strong working relationships across departments including Workshop, Service, and Sales
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased profitability
- Support recruitment, training and performance management of department staff
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and dealership policies
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to ensure a positive customer experience
- Proven experience as a Parts Advisor within a commercial or motor dealership environment
- Previous supervisory, coaching or team support experience
- Strong knowledge of parts ordering, stock control and inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organisational skills with great attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to team performance
- Good IT skills, ideally with experience in Kerridge / Keyloop
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz systems and warranty processes is desirable
