Commercial Workshop Manager Opportunity in Hull

Pay: up to around £45,000 + bonuses
Hours: Monday to Friday Hours only

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Workshop Manager to join a family-run business in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to lead operations within a well-established team. The role offers an attractive salary package with significant earning potential through performance-related bonuses.

You will either be a current workshop controller or an experienced technician of any kind who is looking for a step up.

Duties:
  • Managing and overseeing the workshop ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Leading and motivating a team of around 5 staff members.
  • Implementing effective processes to optimise workshop efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and health and safety legislation.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and service providers. 
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Workshop Manager or automotive experience as a technician.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
  • Good understanding of commercial vehicle operations and key performance indicators.
  • Ability to drive sales, improve customer retention, and manage a team effectively.
