We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Controller to join our client's busy service department in Barnstaple. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to advance their career within a reputable dealership. The successful individual will be responsible for overseeing workshop operations, managing technician workflow, and ensuring outstanding customer service. 

Benefits:
  • Basic salary of up to £35,000 per annum, with an OTE of approximately £40,000
  • No weekend work, Monday to Friday working hours from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Stable and supportive workshop environment

Duties:
  • Manage the workshop schedule to optimise productivity and efficiency
  • Coordinate and support the workshop team to ensure timely completion of vehicles
  • Liaise with customers to communicate vehicle repair progress and costs
  • Maintain high standards of workshop organisation and health and safety compliance
  • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues where needed
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in workshop control or management within the motor trade
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with both team members and customers
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
  • Full UK driving licence
