Vehicle Paint Sprayer Opportunity in Swindon
  • Salary: Between £40-50,000 per annum pending experience. 
  • Hours: 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday with Saturdays, 8:00am-1:30pm on a rota and paid as overtime. 
Our client, one of the UK's largest independent used van/commercial vehicle retailers, is currently looking to recruit a Paint Sprayer for their bodyshop in Swindon.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working as part of a friendly team in modern facilities, you will be responsible for restoring our clients' stock of used van/commercial vehicles to their former glory.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Preparing vehicles for paintwork.
  • Masking vehicles in preparation for paintwork.
  • Carrying out minor damage repairs.
  • Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork.
  • Mixing paint to apply to vehicles.
  • Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard.
To be eligible, you will need to have current or recent experience working as a Paint Sprayer. An IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle paint spraying would be desirable; however, our client is willing to consider individuals with strong "on the job" experience as a Paint Sprayer who can work to their meticulous standards. Overall, you will have a good eye for detail, be a team player with good communication skills, have an aptitude for multitasking, and have a UK driving license with minimal points.
