  • Salary: £39,000 basic | £47,000 OTE
  • Working Hours: 45 hours per week | Monday to Friday + weekends on a rota
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a busy main dealership in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to further develop their career within a manufacturer-backed environment, working with the latest diagnostic equipment, modern workshop facilities, and ongoing manufacturer training.

You'll play a key role within the workshop, diagnosing complex faults, carrying out advanced repairs, and supporting the wider technician team to maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing:
  • Diagnose and rectify complex mechanical and electrical faults
  • Carry out advanced diagnostic, warranty, and repair work to manufacturer standards
  • Complete Hybrid and EV repairs where qualified
  • Use the latest diagnostic equipment and manufacturer software
  • Carry out hydraulic and electrical repairs safely and efficiently
  • Support and mentor Apprentice Technicians where required
  • Complete all work accurately while maintaining high productivity and quality standards
  • Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer and health & safety requirements
What we're looking for:
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Recognised Diagnostic Vehicle Technician qualification
  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or manufacturer-trained Vehicle Technician
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
  • Full UK Driving Licence
