We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established automotive dealership in Bishop's Stortford. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a professional environment with a competitive salary package and excellent earning potential.

Benefits:
  • Uncapped OTE up to £52,480, with a basic salary depending on experience and qualifications
  • Basic salary ranging from £31,000 to £46,000 based on skill level
  • £3,000 Productivity Bonus and Time Saved Bonus scheme
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with one in three Saturday mornings
  • Stable working hours and supportive team environment
Duties:
  •  Performing pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
  • Carrying out checks in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Fitting customer-requested accessories and additional enhancements
  • Conducting vehicle health checks and reporting any further repairs needed
  • Inspecting lights, tyre pressures, mechanical, and electrical components
  • Completing minor repairs on vehicles to ensure safety and reliability
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults at a basic level
  • Servicing vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and customer requests
  • Conducting warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines
  • Road testing vehicles after repairs to ensure fault correction
  • Completing all relevant documentation accurately and promptly
Requirements:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Relevant motor trade experience, brand or non-brand dealership experience desirable
  • Full valid UK driving licence
  • Self-motivated with a team-supportive attitude
  • Ambitious, eager to learn, and committed to delivering high standards
  • Previous brand experience is preferred but not essential, as brand training will be provided
  • Experience with diagnostics, MOT, and EV work is advantageous but not mandatory
