Commercial Vehicle Sales Driver Opportunity in Cardiff.
  • Salary: £28,764 per annum.
  • Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Fridays 8:30am-4:00pm.

Our client, a franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in the Cardiff region, is currently looking to hire a Commercial Vehicle Sales Driver to join their busy Sales Operations team.

Reporting to the Sales Operations Supervisor and working as part of a professional and friendly team, your main duties will include ensuring the efficient collection, delivery and presentation of commercial vehicles to customers, suppliers and third-party providers. You will be responsible for carrying out vehicle collections and deliveries, completing full vehicle inspections, reporting any damage or mechanical concerns, and ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately. You will also be responsible for planning vehicle movements efficiently, maintaining the cleanliness of vehicles in conjunction with the valeting team, and ensuring company vehicles are maintained in line with both company procedures and legal requirements. In addition, you will safely operate the company vehicle transporter where required, ensuring full tachograph compliance and adherence to all road safety regulations while delivering the highest standards of customer service on every journey.

To be eligible, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence with an active Class 1 licence, ideally with minimal points. You should be organised, reliable and capable of working independently while managing multiple vehicle collections and deliveries throughout the day. Excellent customer service skills are essential as you will regularly represent the business when delivering and collecting vehicles from customers and suppliers. Experience operating a vehicle transporter and knowledge of tachograph regulations would be highly advantageous but are not essential, as full training can be provided.
