Are you an experienced bodyshop productive seeking your next career move? We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable body shop based in Exeter, looking to hire a skilled Panel Beater / Prepper to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in panel beating and vehicle preparation to work within a well-established business offering competitive pay and a flexible working environment.

Benefits

Salary around £38,500 depending on experience
Full-time role with Monday to Friday working hours
Paid holiday entitlement of 20 days plus bank holidays, increasing with years of service
Structured pension scheme in place
Opportunity for flexible working arrangements. 

Duties

Conduct panel beating and paint preparation work to high standards
Assist with bodyshop repairs and prepare cars for painting or further work
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements

Proven experience as a Panel Beater / Prepper
Multiskilled approach, including ability to paint occasionally if needed
Strong panel beating and vehicle preparation skills
Good understanding of vehicle repair processes
Reliable and detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently within a team environment
