Assistant Sales Manager Opportunity in Preston for a Family Owned Used Car Sales Centre
  • Basic Salary: Competitive
  • OTE: £40,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
  • Weekends: Rotational Saturdays and Sundays (Sunday 11:00am – 4:00pm) with flexibility offered.
Join a Friendly, Family-Run Business Our client is a well-established, family-owned used car sales centre based in Preston, renowned for delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality vehicles. Due to continued success, they are looking to recruit a proactive and enthusiastic Assistant Sales Manager to become an integral part of their close-knit team.

This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the business. No two days are the same, and you'll play a key part in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the dealership.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Assisting with the sale of quality used vehicles.
  • Providing excellent customer service throughout the sales journey.
  • Supporting the management of the forecourt and ensuring vehicles are presented to a high standard.
  • Organising and maintaining the vehicle pitch.
  • Collecting and delivering vehicles when required.
  • Assisting with sourcing and organising vehicle parts.
  • Supporting online marketing activities, including vehicle advertising and social media.
  • Helping to ensure the dealership operates efficiently on a daily basis.
  • Working closely with the owners to continue delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience within the motor trade, ideally in vehicle sales.
  • A positive, hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved in all areas of the business.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Experience with vehicle advertising, social media or digital marketing would be advantageous but is not essential.
