  • Hours: Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:00, Saturdays 1 in 2 08:30 – 12:00

Our client, a well-established family business with over 50 years of service in the New Forest area, is looking for a skilled Motorcycle Technician to join their team. With a strong reputation for quality service across both cars and motorbikes, they cater to a loyal customer base from Lymington to Lyndhurst and beyond.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on both cars and motorbikes, including models from a world-renowned motorcycle manufacturer known for their sport, touring, and adventure bikes. If you are passionate about vehicles and motorcycles, this is the perfect role for you!

Duties of a Vehicle & Motorcycle Technician:
  • Diagnose and repair faults in both cars and motorcycles
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre checks
  • Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are successful
  • Communicate effectively with the Service Advisors and Manager regarding vehicle status
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Continue to develop your technical expertise through training and hands-on experience
What our Client Expects from their Technician:
  • Qualifications: NVQ/IMI Level 3 or equivalent in Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair or similar qualification.
  • Preferably A Class 1 & 2 MOT Testing licence would be highly beneficial
  • Experience: Previous experience with motorcycles is preferred
  • Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Attitude: A willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a commitment to high-quality work
  • Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean) & a Motorcycle driving licence would be preferable
This role is based near Lymington, and our client is ideally looking for individuals with experience in the motor trade. However, they are also open to considering those with various levels of experience, including those with NVQ Levels 1, 2, and 3 in light vehicle or motorcycle maintenance and repair.
