Service Advisor Opportunity 
  • Location: Shrewsbury
  • Basic Salary: £29,000
  • OTE: £35,000+ (Uncapped)
  • Working Hours: 42 hours per week – Monday to Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm (with one early finish each week) plus Saturdays 8:00am to 2:00pm on a rota basis.
Our client, a busy Main Dealer in Shrewsbury, is looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor to join their successful Aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused automotive professional looking to develop their career with a reputable dealer offering ongoing training and genuine progression opportunities.

What you'll be doing:
  • Booking customer vehicles in for servicing, MOTs and repair work
  • Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
  • Advising customers on repairs, maintenance and warranty work
  • Upselling additional products, services and accessories where appropriate
  • Scheduling appointments to maximise workshop efficiency
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and updating dealership systems
What we're looking for:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced dealership environment
  • Kerridge / ADP experience would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
