  • 08:00 - 18:00 Monday – Friday, 1 in 12 Saturdays 08:00 - 13:00 (Only 4 Saturdays a Year!)
Our Client, a Well-known Family-Run Vehicle Dealership, requires a Service Advisor to work within their busy Service Department in the Southampton, Hampshire area. They have been operating in the automotive trade for over 30 years within multiple sites and gaining a large following of loyal customers during that time. Due to increased demand, they are looking to recruit a Service Advisor for their fantastic team.

Our client is happy to seek applications from jobseekers looking to move into the automotive trade, ideally with a background with customer service and other front of house, customer facing positions. Duties of a Service Advisor with our Client:
  • Attending to customers when dropping off and collecting their vehicles for service/repair.
  • Taking accurate notes of the customer's requests and communicating them to the workshop team.
  • Keeping customers updated during the day with the progress of their vehicle.
  • Costing and gaining permission for any additional work found.
  • Preparing and presenting the customer invoice and associated paperwork.
  • Giving a full explanation to the customer of the work undertaken.
  • Presenting service products such as service plans, extended warranties etc.
What our client expects of their Service Advisor:
  • IT literate 
  • Customer focused.
  • Ability to upsell.
  • Excellent customer satisfaction skills
  • Confident communication skills
  • Experience of Pinnacle or a similar DMS would be beneficial.
  • Organisation skills and being able to manage customer appointments.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is preferred – Preferably Clean
