Join a leading collision repair centre as a Bodyshop Controller in Blackpool. Our client, part of a renowned global collision repair network, is seeking an experienced Bodyshop Controller to oversee day-to-day workshop operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain high standards of quality.

Duties:
  • Manage workshop workflow to ensure efficient vehicle repairs and timescales are met
  • Allocate repair jobs to technicians based on skill, capacity, and workload
  • Monitor progress and update customers on repair status, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards, adhering to BS10125 accreditation requirements
  • Liaise with insurance companies, parts suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth operations
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle repairs including accident repairs, paintless dent removal, and wheel alignment
  • Maintain accurate documentation, invoicing, and repair reports
  • Ensure health and safety policies are followed within the workshop
  • Support the team with technical guidance and performance management
  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment to industry standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Workshop Controller or similar role within a collision repair environment
  • A good understanding of collision repair processes and quality standards
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • IT proficiency and experience using garage management systems
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
