We are currently recruiting for a skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client in Bodmin. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking a stable and rewarding role within a reputable dealership. Our client is looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Vehicle Technician to join their team and deliver exceptional service.
Benefits: Competitive basic salary of around £35,000 per annum possibly more depending on experience. 
Potential OTE of £40,000 plus additional performance bonuses
Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
One in four Saturday mornings, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
Staff development and training opportunities available

Duties

Carrying out vehicle diagnostics, repairs and servicing efficiently
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within manufacturer guidelines
Diagnosing faults accurately and advising customers accordingly
Maintaining detailed records of work performed
Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Collaborating with team members to meet workshop targets and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy workshop or dealership
Relevant technical qualifications such as NVQ level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Valid UK driving licence
