Duties
  • Provide generalist HR support to the dealer network, including advice on performance, conduct, absence, and grievance issues
  • Support line managers with disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes, ensuring correct procedures are followed
  • Manage probation periods, contract extensions, and appointment confirmations
  • Oversee short and long-term sickness absence management
  • Assist in the implementation of performance management tools such as appraisals, succession planning, and career development
  • Work in partnership with the Recruitment team to ensure timely hiring of vacancies
  • Advise on and promote best HR practices across the organisation
  • Ensure all HR activities align with employment legislation and company policies
Requirements
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards)
  • 2+ years' experience in a HR advisory role
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations and complex HR issues
  • Professional approach with a focus on supporting line managers and developing teams
  • Automotive experience would be beneficial
