We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Controller to join a successful main dealership in Milton Keynes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional with strong transaction manager, business manager or sales controller experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and develop towards senior management.
Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in controlling and maximising deals, supporting the sales team and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional buying experience.
Responsibilities:
- Achieving team targets across vehicle sales, profitability and finance
- Stacking and controlling deals to maximise profitability
- Being involved throughout the sales process, from initial enquiry through to closing
- Delivering finance and insurance products in line with FCA requirements
- Carrying out part-exchange appraisals
- Supporting and developing the sales team to achieve their targets
- Maintaining excellent product and market knowledge
- Ensuring all deals are completed in line with company, manufacturer and legislative standards
- Providing an exceptional level of customer service throughout the purchasing journey
We are looking for an experienced automotive professional with a strong background within a franchised dealership, ideally as a Transaction Manager, Business Manager or Sales Controller.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in deal stacking and deal control
- A proven ability to close deals and maximise opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products
- A good understanding of FCA compliance
- A target-driven and commercially focused approach
- The confidence to work directly with customers and support the wider sales team
- A genuine ambition to progress your career within the motor trade
- A full UK driving licence
