Duties:
  • Carry out damage assessments and prepare accurate estimates for repair works
  • Liaise effectively with insurance companies to obtain approval for repairs
  • Conduct repairs on damaged vehicles across various marques, ensuring manufacturer standards are met
  • Complete repairs independently from start to finish with high attention to detail
  • Maintain records of electronic and manual estimates and repair progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the workshop and other departments to ensure timely vehicle turnaround
  • Keep up to date with repair methodologies, manufacturer updates, and insurer requirements
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator in a fast-paced workshop environment
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or ATA / IMI qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of repair methodologies, including panel repairs, welding, and jig work
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong team player committed to excellent customer service and safety standards
