Vehicle Technician Required in Dorking for Family Run Garage
Hours: 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday 
Pay: £28,000 - £40,000 Basic - depending on experience (recently qualified up to senior technician) 
  We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, family-run garage in Dorking. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to progress their career within a reputable business that values expertise, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a supportive team environment with excellent earning potential.

Duties

  • Conducting vehicle servicing and repairs to a high standard
  • Performing MOT testing and ensuring vehicles meet safety and emissions standards
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults accurately
  • Providing excellent customer service and clear communication regarding repairs
  • Maintaining high levels of productivity and quality within the workshop
Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with relevant qualifications - our client is happy to consider recently qualified local junior vehicle mechanics
  • Ability to carry out MOT testing (or willingness to obtain qualification)
  • Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset
