Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor - Swindon
  • Salary: Between £29-32,000 per annum, pending experience. 
  • Hours: Between 30-40 hours per week so the position can be either full-time or part-time.

Our client, a large multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group with several centres across South West England, are looking to recruit a Service Advisor to join their Swindon centre on either a full-time or part-time contract.
 
Reporting to the Service Manager and working as part of a friendly team, as a Service Advisor, your key duties will include:
  • Greeting customers and providing a welcoming first impression
  • Booking appointments, managing diaries / organising the daily schedule, raising estimates, and gaining authority for work from customers
  • Handling phone calls, email enquiries, and customer queries
  • Preparing job cards and ensuring paperwork is completed accurately
  • Liaising with workshop controller, communicating with technicians and updating customers on progress
  • Taking payments and issuing invoices
  • Maintaining a tidy, well-presented reception area
  • Supporting the smooth running of the workshop with general administrative tasks
  • You’ll deliver excellent customer care while helping maintain an efficient and professional front-of-house service.
The successful Servcie Advisor would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational and IT skills would be of high priority. Any experience with the Kerridge/Keyloop DMS system would be beneficial. Current or recent experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor would be highly advantageous to our client; however is non-essential provided you come from a strong customer service-oriented background and have experience working with commercial vehicles and in the commercial vehicle industry.
