We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Bodyshop Advisor to join our client’s team in Grays, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to utilise their customer service skills in a busy automotive environment. The ideal Bodyshop Advisor will thrive in a customer-focused role, supporting the smooth operation of the bodyshop and ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £27,000 per annum, with an on-target earning of approximately £30,000.
  • Regular working hours Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, including a one-hour lunch break.

Duties:
  • Welcoming customers and visitors to the bodyshop in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handling incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
  • Maintaining regular communication with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Booking appointments and managing customer enquiries efficiently. Processing customer information accurately and maintaining detailed records.
  • Supporting the bodyshop team with administrative duties, including managing emails and correspondence.
  • Assisting with invoicing, documentation, and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Keeping the reception area organised and presentable at all times.
  • Promoting excellent customer service and representing the business professionally at all times.
Requirements:
  • Excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers and team members.
  • Computer literate, with experience using Microsoft Office and other business systems.
  • Well organised with a keen eye for detail. Able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • A positive, professional, and approachable attitude.
  • Previous experience within a reception, customer service, or automotive industry role would be advantageous but is not essential.
