Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking to join a reputable team in the Bishop Stortford area? This excellent opportunity is perfect for skilled professionals who want to develop their career within the commercial vehicle sector. Our client is seeking a dedicated HGV Technician to carry out servicing and inspections on a range of large vehicles, including lorries and rigids.

Benefits: 
  • Competitive basic salary of circa £46,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm working hours with Saturday morning on a rota
  • 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
  • Opportunity for ongoing training and development
Duties:
  • Conduct servicing and inspections on commercial vehicles, including lorries and rigids
  • Carry out repairs as required to ensure vehicles meet industry standards
  • Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work completed
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve high standards of vehicle upkeep and safety
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role in commercial vehicle maintenance
  • Own set of tools essential for daily tasks
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Practical experience in servicing and repairing large commercial vehicles
  • Formal qualifications are not essential but practical experience is required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
