An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor to join a successful and well-established independent automotive business in Arnold.The business has a strong reputation across Nottinghamshire, with a growing network of modern workshops and a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Salary: Up to £30,000 basic + bonus
  • Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm + 1 in 2 Saturdays

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming customers and understanding their vehicle servicing and repair requirements
  • Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing appointments
  • Providing customers with updates throughout the repair process
  • Liaising closely with technicians and the workshop team
  • Preparing estimates and gaining customer authorisation for additional work
  • Explaining repairs and servicing requirements clearly to customers
  • Handling customer queries and resolving any issues professionally
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork and customer records are completed accurately
  • Identifying additional work and services where appropriate
  • Delivering excellent customer service throughout the entire process
About You:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer-facing role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Confident dealing with customers both face-to-face and over the telephone
  • Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • Good understanding of vehicle servicing and repairs
  • Strong attention to detail and administration skills
