We are currently seeking a skilled Technician and MOT Tester to join a well-established garage in Clitheroe. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work across two bays with MOT facilities, ensuring a varied and rewarding workload. The garage has been serving customers since the 80's and prides itself on delivering excellent service, reflected in their outstanding 5-star Google reviews.

The position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility for start times. The salary is negotiable within a range of £35,000 to £43,000, dependent on experience and skills. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced mechanic seeking to join a reputable, long-standing business with a strong local reputation.

Duties:
  • Carry out routine servicing and complex mechanical repairs including clutches, gearboxes, and timing belts

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of repair accuracy
Requirements:
  • Qualified and experienced mechanic with relevant certifications
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • MOT tester certification would be advantageous
  • Proficient in diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and customer communication
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
