MOT Tester Required for Car Dealership Group 
  • Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday; flexible start and finish times; workshop is open 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday ONLY 
  • Pay: £35k Basic - £41k OTE 
We are currently recruiting for the position of MOT Tester for a reputable dealer group in Guildford. This MOT Tester role offers a fantastic opportunity for skilled professionals to join a busy workshop, working Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times. The ideal individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to delivering excellent service.

  • Competitive basic salary of £35,000 with an OTE of up to £41,000

Duties:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with legal requirements and dealership standards
  • Ensure all inspections are thorough, accurate, and completed within designated timeframes
  • Maintain the workshop’s high standards of safety and quality
  • Communicate findings clearly to both the workshop team and customers when necessary
  • Assist with other workshop duties as required to ensure efficient operation
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an MOT Tester with relevant certification
  • A full valid UK driving licence
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
