- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency
- Control stock levels, optimise stock utilisation, and oversee stock planning and administration
- Drive sales of parts, accessories, and value-added products to maximise departmental profitability
- Monitor and manage departmental budgets, control costs, and improve financial performance
- Lead, motivate, and develop the team through coaching, training, and performance management
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, health and safety standards, and company policies
- Build and maintain relationships with trade account customers and explore new business opportunities
- Ensure accurate administration including warranty processing, stock checks, and supplier relationships
- Proven experience within a Parts or Aftersales role in the motor trade
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to oversee a busy department
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Good commercial awareness and numerical literacy
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required
- Knowledge of relevant vehicle and trade legislation is desirable
